The clear version
What deletion means.
Maison deletes your account and ordinary product data. A small restricted record remains only where it is needed to prevent abuse, preserve safety boundaries or finish a property message already in progress.

- Your authentication account, profile, university email, profile details and profile or gallery images.
- Your chat messages and ordinary membership, matching, connection and invitation history.
- Your votes, shortlists, notifications and ordinary Maison product data.
Restricted safety record
Kept back for a reason.
- It contains no plaintext email and cannot recreate your profile.
- Former relationship and safety exclusions are retained permanently so deletion cannot reopen an old relationship or bypass a safety control.
- If you delete your account for a second time, you’ll need to wait 30 days before joining again.
- If a property message is already on its way, we’ll remove its temporary delivery details once it has been sent—or if delivery can’t be completed.
Your housing agreements are separate.Deleting your Maison account does not cancel or release a deposit, offer, guarantor commitment, contract, rent, tenancy or another real world obligation.
